His Excellency Mr. Abdul Mohsen bin Saad Al-Khalaf

His Excellency Abdulmohsen bin Saad Al-Khalaf is the Deputy Minister of Finance. In addition to his duties at the Ministry, he serves as the Saudi Sherpa for the G20, Executive Director, Board Member, and member of the Policy and Strategy Committee of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), Alternate Governor for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), and a member of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Foreign Trade (GAFT).

Mr. Al-Khalaf has extensive experience spanning over 15 years in the field of financial and economic policy, having previously served as Executive Director and member of the Executive Boards of the World Bank Group, and as Chair of its Audit Committee. He also served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Policy Officer for the Saudi G20 Presidency of the Financial Track Program, among others.

Academically, Mr. Al-Khalaf holds a Master's degree in Economics from George Washington University in the United States, a Master's degree in Finance from Saint Mary's University in Canada, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from King Saud University.
