Dr. Mohammed bin Saad Al Salem

Al-Salem worked as an assistant professor in the Department of Education at the College of Social Sciences at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University, then worked as the Deputy Director of the Education Department for a year, then as the Director General of Scholarships and External Relations at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University, and Dean of Institute Affairs Abroad at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University in 1403 AH, then worked as the Secretary General of Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University in 1405 AH, in addition to assuming the position of Secretary General of the Higher Education Council in 1414 AH, after which he worked as the Director of Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University from 1419 AH until 1428 AH,[1] and he also worked as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Fahd National Library in 1429 AH.

  • Ph.D. in Education from the University of California, Santa Barbara – specialized in Educational Administration.
  • Mohammed bin Saad bin Abdulaziz Al-Salem was born in 1363 AH (1944 AD) in Al-Muwaih Governorate, located in the western region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the Makkah Region.

  • Former President of Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University.
  • Member of the Saudi Shura Council.
  • Assistant Professor in the Department of Education, College of Social Sciences, Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University.
  • Served as Vice-Chair of the Department of Education for one year.
  • Director General of Scholarships and External Relations at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University.
  • Dean of the Institute Affairs Abroad at the university in 1404 AH.
  • Secretary General of the University in 1405 AH.
  • Appointed Secretary General of the Higher Education Council in 1414 AH.
  • Later appointed President of Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University from 1419 AH to 1423 AH.
  • Served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of King Fahd National Library in 1429 AH.
