His Excellency the Minister of Education, Chairman of the Council of University Affairs, chairs the ninth consultative meeting of university presidents in the Kingdom

His Excellency the Minister of Education and Chairman of the Council of University Affairs, Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, chaired the ninth consultative meeting of Saudi university presidents, held today in Riyadh. The meeting was attended by the Secretary-General of the Council of University Affairs and a number of Their Excellencies the presidents of public universities.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Minister of Education and Chairman of the Council expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and his loyal Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz – may God protect them – for their unlimited support for the education sector in the Kingdom.

His Excellency congratulated Her Excellency Dr. Inas Al-Issa on the royal confidence in appointing her as Deputy Minister of Education with the excellent rank. The meeting discussed several topics aimed at developing the university education system and strengthening the role of universities in the fields of education, research, innovation, and investment. It also discussed qualitative initiatives and future projects related to the progress of university education.

This meeting comes within the framework of the periodic meetings organized by the Council of University Affairs to follow up on developments in the university sector and coordinate joint efforts among universities to enhance their efficiency and contribute to supporting integration among them.
