His Excellency Professor Dr. Bassam bin Abdullah Al-Bassam
His Excellency Eng. Bassam bin Abdullah Al-Bassam is the Deputy Minister for Communications and Infrastructure at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. He has over 27 years of experience in the telecommunications sector, during which he has held several leadership positions and assignments in the public and private sectors, including the Communications and Space Technology Commission, Cisco, the Saudi Telecom Group, and Advanced Electronics Company. He has made significant contributions to projects to spread and develop the digital infrastructure in the Kingdom.

- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1998 from King Saud University.
- A Master’s degree in Public Administration in 2004 from the Akron University, Ohio, the USA
- Doctorate in Public Administration, Public Finance and Governance in 2012 from Florida Atlantic University in the United States of America.
