He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from Old Dominion University, a Master’s in Economics from Old Dominion University, an MBA with a specialization in Finance from Duquesne University, USA, and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from King Saud University.

Dr. Abu Thnain has held numerous positions, including:

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor for Inspection and Development of the Work Environment

Undersecretary of the Ministry for Planning and Development

He has also held various positions in the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, as well as the Institute of Public Administration. In addition, he has served as a member of several boards of directors in both the public and private sectors.
