Speech by the Director General of the Center
I am pleased to welcome you to the Center for Higher Education Studies and Services, an institution dedicated to supporting the higher education sector through the provision of studies, research, periodic reports, and specialized services that contribute to its development and advancement.
The Center was established to serve as an effective strategic arm in developing educational policies in the higher education sector. This is achieved through data analysis and management, and by providing studies and services that enhance performance efficiency and contribute to making decisions based on scientific foundations and accurate indicators. The Center includes specialized units that work in harmony and professionally to achieve the aspirations of the Council of University Affairs, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
We aspire for the Center to be a reliable scientific reference for all those who benefit from its services, and to contribute to clarifying work mechanisms and enhancing cooperation and integration with our partners in the higher education sector.
In conclusion, I extend my sincere thanks and gratitude to His Excellency the Minister of Education and Chairman of the Council of University Affairs, Professor Yousef Al-Benyan, for his continuous support and keenness to develop the higher education system. I also extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Council of University Affairs, Prof. Dr. Bassam Al-Bassam, for his tireless efforts in coordinating, supervising, and continuously supporting the Center, which has had a significant impact on enabling us to fulfill our mission to the fullest. I also extend my special thanks to my colleagues at the Center for their continuous efforts and dedication to serving this vital sector.
