The Ministry of Education launches the national "Acceptance Platform" to unify admission procedures for universities and educational institutions.

The Ministry of Education announced the launch of the National Unified Admissions Platform (the "Acceptance Platform"), https://www.uap.sa/. This strategic initiative aims to promote digital transformation in education and standardize admission procedures at universities and educational institutions, ensuring equal opportunities for male and female students across the Kingdom.

The platform aims to facilitate the university admissions experience through a unified and comprehensive digital portal, enabling students to choose their majors based on accurate and up-to-date data, and according to their interests and abilities. This is achieved through smart tools that support academic decision-making in a transparent, competitive, and reliable environment.

The platform covers 28 government educational institutions, including 26 universities, in addition to the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Foreign Scholarships (Imdad) for undergraduate studies.

The platform integrates with several government agencies. To ensure data quality and retrieval from official sources, this enhances system reliability, contributes to ease of use, and the accuracy of procedures. It also serves as a support tool for decision-makers and university staff, providing real-time data and analytical reports that contribute to the development of the admissions system and enhance the efficiency of planning for university capacity and seat management.
