The Islamic University of Madinah

The Islamic University of Madinah was established by Royal Decree No. 11, dated 25/3/1381 AH, followed by Royal Decree No. 21, dated 16/4/1381 AH, which approved the system of the Supreme Advisory Council of the University. Studies at the University began on Sunday, the 2nd of Jumada al-Akhira, in the same year. Dated 18/5/1386 AH, Royal Decree No. M/18 was issued, approving the system of the University.  A new system for the University was later issued in accordance with Royal Decree No. M/70, dated 7/8/1395 AH.
