Rules Governing International Advisory Boards

Council: The International Advisory Board.

University: The university at which the Council is established.

Member: A Saudi or non-Saudi member of the Council.

Rules: The rules governing international advisory boards at universities.

These rules aim to regulate the mechanism for establishing and forming the Council, defining its tasks, organizing its work, and its financial affairs.

1. The Council is formed by a decision of the University Council. It consists of the University President as Chairman and no fewer than (10) and no more than (20) members, with the number of non-Saudi international members not less than (70%).
2. The necessary official approvals and regulatory procedures for the names of candidates shall be completed before they are presented to the University Council.
3. The Council's term shall be two years, renewable.

5. They must possess distinguished competence and experience in their field of specialization.
6. Their academic and professional specializations must be diverse.
7. Their representation of sectors relevant to the University's goals and vision must be diverse.
8. The membership must include members from member states, not exceeding (3) members from each state.
